Leading a Healthy and Happy Life

Everyone is in a race to enjoy a materially happy life. Being materially happy is not the sole reason why you are n a visit to the planet.

To lead a happy and healthy life you should have a life free from anxiety, frustration, hatred, resentment, rebellion and fear. The six conditions mentioned are the cause of major illness which causes a large majority of deaths before the age of 60.

In our race to accumulate more we forget the basics of life and suffer from any one or more of the six conditions.

If you can safe guard yourself from anxiety and fear rest all conditions in all probability will be non-existent for you.

Fear causes anxiety which leads to worry. The moment you stop worrying you have scored your victory for a healthy and happy life.

What is the use of material possession when you cannot enjoy them due to your medical conditions?

Medical conditions like Cardiac, Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Thyroid and Nervous breakdown can be attributed to be caused by worry.

While everyone has the knowledge that these conditions are caused by worry but either we do not try to acquire the knowledge on how to live a worry free life.

The two key methods to live a worry free life are

Day Tight Operation

The three step miracle

Dale Carnegie in his book “How to stop worrying and start living”  first published in 1953 has outlined the steps in a very diligent and meticulous manner. The book is still very relevant even today after almost 70 years.

One of the causes of worry is a non-existent superficial expectation of materially fulfilled life.

We all have seen hour glass we should also presume our life to be an hourglass and lead our life in the similar manner “one grain of sand at a time, One task at a time”.

Keep aside your plans for future and your worry for the nonexistent future and live your life on a day to day basis. From the time you wake up to the time you go to bed. In a tight day tight compartment to overcome worry.

The second method i.e. the three step miracle process is also very effective and interesting. The three steps are

  • What is the worst result you can expect?
  • Accept the worst result you are expecting.
  • Start improving on the results of the worst you can expect.

I follow the first solution i.e. day tight operation in my current life. I did follow the second “three step miracle” when my own business had reached a point of no revival and I was out of work sitting at home after running a business successfully for almost for 30 years.

I worked out and decided that worst result I can expect is that the business will be closed. I will be out of work which at some point of time will lead to a point where I and family may have to starve.

Without sharing the situation which I had accepted I started improving on the results by doing petty work like supplying grocery to homes and even tried my hand on online business. While doing these to improve o the worst expected results got a break and joined a job.

The result of the three step miracle process was that in spite of a slew of debt related cases and mounting debts I could escape the clutches of any of the above mentioned health condition. Which in all probability where knocking at my doors. I have reached a position where I am gradually repaying my debts.

Similarly I am in knowing of an acquaintance that was diagnosed to be suffering from cancer at an irreversible stage and his journey to the planet was expected to come to an end in a matter of a few weeks.

The Acquaintance decided the end result was death. To improve the results he will start leading a life which will be only full of joy and laugh he went on to fulfill his dreams of travelling around the world and went on to live a healthy and happy life for more than 20 years. It is considered as a case of miracle. But the miracle was caused by the three step miracle process.

Worry and fear are both intermingled and one cannot come without the other. We can definitely overcome both by leading a fear less life. It is although easier said than done but practice will make you perfect in that. It is your acceptance of the worst that will help you overcome the fear and help you lead a worry free life.

Always remember that “God may forgive your sins, but your nervous system will not”
